Mercedes-Benz Museum, Stuttgart: Web 2.0 takes off in the air, Lufthansa and the tornado @ Twittwoch Aug. 4, 2010
It will be a special pleasure for me to talk and discuss our Lufthansa Social Media activities at the so-called Twittwoch (“twitter wednesday”) in Stuttgart right in the Mercedes-Benz Museum (http://ow.ly/1xfp6) at 6:30 p.m. on the 4th of August, 2010.

My colleague Klaus Lukas, Director Enterprise Portal, will show the internal use of social media in our corporate IT landscape, while I will give some insights to our external activities, from Facebook to MySkyStatus to social mobile apps, like Miles & More MemberScout.

I’m also really anxious to have the presentation at the biggest LCD-wall in Germany, I believe, consisting of 48 LCD screens with a 30 square meter huge twitterwall!!!

But this was not all: The coolest thing ever is that the Mercedes-Benz Museum has the largest artificial indoor tornado in the world (even acknowledged by the Guiness Book of World Records) which will be shown to the public the first time that day – live!!! – at 8 p.m. after our Lufthansa presentation!

More than 220.000 people watched already this spectacle of the gigantic Mercedes smoke extractor on YouTube:

Anybody interested to come – check out the XING group (German): https://www.xing.com/events/4-twittwoch-mercedes-benz-museum-web-2-0-luft-537311/description

For all the rest I can really recommend the Mercedes-Benz Museum with its pearls – to follow on twitter here: http://twitter.com/mb_museum
